How do I Add Images To Your Pages
We're planning on simplifying the way images are added to pages. Currently, you can follow this guide to get it done.
Adding images to a page is a two step process. First, we need to add the image to ZipZoomAuto, then we need to insert that image in the desired page.
We're assuming that you already have a page created and that you are logged into the system.
Adding An Image To ZipZoomAuto (Part 1)
- Go to the Website tab, then the Theme subtab.
- Click on Upload A Resource
- Click on the Browse button and select your image; click upload
file.
- Scroll down to the Images header and find the
image you just uploaded.( Images are sorted
alphabetically)
- Click on the magnifying glass adjacent to the image. This
should open the image in a new tab.
- Locate the URL of that image towards the top of your browser. Now select and copy the URL.
Now that we copied the URL of the image, we need to insert it in our desired page.
Inserting The Image Into a Page (Part 2)
- Go back to ZipZoomAuto; click on the Pages subtab under the
Website tab.
- Click on the edit link adjacent to the page where you'd like to
insert the image.
-
In the Pages Content text area, find where you'd like to place your image and type somethign similar to:
So say we uploaded a poodle's image, we'd type:
The part between the parenthesis () is the URL we copied in part one.
- Now click on Update Page then click on
Preview; you should see a preview of your page with the
image you just added.
- If all is good, then you should be able to see the image on your website by going to the page we added it to.
If your run into any problems, make sure the URL you copied
in part one is correct and make sure you inserted the link above
correctly using ![]().
